KEY MESSAGES
In discussions Charles High Smith and I saw three themes that were independently coming out in our writings.
- REPRICING OF RISK: The reality that Risk was going to have to be Repriced,
- REVALUING COLLATERAL: The fact that Collateral that underpins credit was both seriously overvalued and in short supply and
- INCREASING PRODUCTIVITY: There was on unavoidable problem that Productivity must be increased from its declining trend in the developed nations or our economic growth foundation was in structural troubles!
We also realized that we had been treating these themes as three distinct topics when in fact they are interconnected and normally unfold in a cascading "Waterfall" sequence. In this video we both review our own writings on the subject to see if we can uncover further discoveries of what the consequences will be.
